What vaccinations are required in order to board my dog or bring them for Day Camp?

Vaccinations required are Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. We require the Bordetella to be updated every 6 months. If your dog has never had Bordetella in the past, we require it to be given at least 3 days prior to staying with us. We do sell the Bordetella vaccination at our facility for $15 for your convenience. We require all updated vaccination records before making a first time reservation for new clients.

What are the requirements for my dog to be able to attend Day Camp?

In order for your dog to attend Day Camp, they must be spayed or neutered if they are over 6 months old and they must be up to date on all of their vaccinations. We will acclimate all dogs before they join our Day Camp. We will test your dog's temperament and personality to see which yard they will be most comfortable in. We will slowly introduce them to a couple of dogs at a time until your dog feels comfortable enough to go out into the yard with the other dogs.

If my dog is at Day Camp all day will he/she get breaks?

Yes! We will give your dog a couple of breaks trhoughout the day. Each break will be between 30 minutes to an hour. We also have several ways of cooling off your dog throughout the day when it is hot outside. We have our water fountain feature, we have pools, we have misters installed over head, fans and outdoor air conditioners to keep your dog cool all day long while they play and socialize. During the winter time, we have portable heaters we can set up around the perimeter to keep your dog nice and warm. You are more than welcome to bring a jacket for your dog while they are at Day Camp, as well.  All indoor facilities are always heated/cooled.

Will you feed my dog lunch while they are there for Day Camp?

We can feed your dog lunch or treats during the day if they are used to eating midday. You can either provide the food that they are used to or for $2 we can feed them Pet Planet food which is a lamb and grain free dry food. If your dog has any food or treat allergies, please let us know!

When boarding my dog, can he/she do Day Camp during the day?

Absolutely! You can always add Day Camp to your reservation when dropping off your dog for their stay. Day Camp is $15 a day while boarding for each dog. Your dog will be given several breaks throughout the day where they will be taken back to their room for nap time and feeding breaks if they need it.

Do I need to make a reservation for my dog to attend Day Camp?

No. Once we have you and your dog registered in our system, then you can bring them any day that we have Day Camp. Your dog must be up to date on their vaccinations and be spayed or neutered if they are over 6 months old.

How do I make a reservation to board my dog?

If it is your first time boarding, you will need to register yourself and your pet online. You can go to petplanet.gingrapp.com/customer and enter in all of yours' and your dog's information. You can also use this online portal to download your pet's updated vaccination records onto their profile. Once we have you in our system, you can request a reservation online using that same online portal, you can call us and make the reservation over the phone, or you can email us to request the dates for your reservation. When requesting a reservation we may not always be able to accommodate the type of room you are requesting due to availability. There is also an option to download the New Client Form and the Day Camp Form from our website petplanetcomplex.com. After filling them out you can either bring the forms to our facility and we will get you registered, you can scan and email the forms to us, or you can fax the forms to us

How much do you charge per night for boarding my dog?

We actually charge per day instead of per night. The prices of the rooms vary depending on the size of the room. Our Mini Suites are $35 a day and have a maximum weight capacity of 25 lbs. Our Standard Suites are $40 a day and can fit small to medium size dogs. Our Queen Suites are $45 a day and can fit medium to large size dogs. Our King Suites are $50 a day and can fit Extra Large dogs or multiple dogs. Small dogs can stay in larger rooms if you would like for them to have some extra space. If you have multiple dogs staying in the same room, the first dog will be full price and each additional dog will be half off.  You can check out the "Prices" tab on our website for a full list of the rooms that we have available.

How soon in advance do I need to make a boarding reservation?

We recommend making a reservation as soon as you know the dates you are requesting. Especially around holidays, our availability can be tight. So the sooner you make a reservation, the more likely we are going to be able to accomodate the type of room you are requesting during your dog's reservation. You can always request reservations online at petplanet.gingrapp.com or give us a call to check availability.

If my dog is boarding but not doing Day Camp, will they be allowed any playtime during the day?

Absolutely! If your dog is not doing Day Camp while they are boarding with us then they will be taken out to a private yard away from the other dogs who are doing Day Camp. Their breaks will be between 45 minutes to 1 hour. They will be able to get exercise, use the bathroom, and get some playtime with our Pet Specialists. The private yards that your dog will be in will have grass to play in and shade to keep them cool on those hot summer days. Their yard will have water bowls and we can put their toys in their yard with them while they are playing.

Am I required to pay a deposit for my reservation?

We do require deposits for reservations on or around any Holiday. You will also be required to pay a deposit for your first reservation made. Any deposit paid will be credited to the final bill when you pick up your pet. If you are making a reservation that requires a deposit a week or less in advance then we will keep your room on hold for 24 hours until the deposit is paid. If the deposit is not paid within 24 hours then your reservation will be subject to cancellation. If you are making a reservation a month or more in advance then we may allow more time to keep your reservation on hold before you pay the deposit. Deposits are non-refundable.

What is your cancellation policy for boarding reservations?

For holiday/high demand dates, if the reservation is cancelled seven (7) days or less from the reserved drop off date, a $20 fee (separate to the $50 boarding deposit) per dog can be assessed. All boarding deposits, which are required for a first-time reservation or high demand dates, are non-refundable. In cases of more than seven-day notice given, deposits may be kept as credit for another boarding stay.
When boarding my dog, what time do I have to drop him/her off? What time do I have to pick him/her up?

You can drop off/pick up your dog anytime during our regular business hours. There is no restriction of when you have to arrive. We recommend giving us a round about time of when you may be here when making your reservation just so we can have everything ready for you when you are dropping off or picking up. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Sunday 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm for pick up and drop offs only. Sometimes we have different business hours for Holidays. We will notify you of those hour changes at the time the reservation is being made should your reservation fall on one of those dates. If you think you may be able to pick up your dog a day or two early from what your reservation is, then you can call us to notify us of the early pick up and we will get everything ready for you.

Can I come in for a tour before making a reservation?  Can I bring my dog with me for a tour?

We always welcome you to come in for a tour of our facilities! We recommend coming in for a tour between 10 am and 2 pm Monday thru Saturdays. We are usually less busy with Pick Ups and Drop Offs between these hours and are less likely to be interuppted during the tour. Dogs are not allowed on the tours, however, you are welcome to bring him/her with you to the facility. One of our staff members will happily stay with them in the lobby as you are toured through the facility!
